Kamakura & Enoshima Island

Day trip to Kamakura & Enoshima Island. This was the first real shoot I had done in a long time. I had to just rely on muscle memory and re-learning fundamentals as I went along. In editing, I really wanted to evoke the sense of calm & nostalgia that I felt on the day, so my color harmony goals were chasing a soft, film-faded look. Video here.

Monoliths

Japan is full of gigantic castles, mountains, and shrines. As I came across them in my travels, I was truly in awe of the sheer size and intricacy that had stood for centuries. My goal in editing was to highlight the colors and sense of scale that stood out to me on the day.

Portraits

Slowly learning and appreciating the art of good portrait photography. I typically shoot landscape, architecture, street and candid, so this is a new skillset I aim to develop. This gallery will continually be updated with new images.
